There are excellent scuba diving reefs along much of Tanzanian coastline. Especially Maziwe Island, one of the oldest Marine Reserves in Tanzania, is a pearl in the Indian Ocean with amazing hard and soft corals and several types of sponges and fans. The coral reefs offer a variety of dive sites, from gently sloping coral gardens to massive Bommies surrounded by schools of fusilier fish and barracuda.
The depth ranges from 5-35 m. The conditions are excellent for training divers from your first dive experience right through professional levels packed with a diverse, exotic marine life you will never forget. The temperature varies between 26 C° and 29 C° with visibility of 10-20 m.
